Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Curt Knowles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikkie Stijf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Curt Knowles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nikkie Stijf!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stijf changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Knowles looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Knowles tries to improve position but can't.
Knowles manages to get back to half guard.

Stijf has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Knowles can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Stijf pulls Knowles in close to his closed guard and prevents Knowles from doing any damage or advancing position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Stijf fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Knowles sprawls well initially but Stijf persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Stijf thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Knowles's head.

Let's hope that Stijf has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Stijf is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Knowles defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Knowles manages to break the clinch.
Knowles shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stijf as he avoids it easily.
Knowles tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stijf swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stijf closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stijf lands in his opponent's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Knowles manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stijf manages to get himself to full guard.
