Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Wilder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nazario Drugunov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sebastian Wilder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nazario Drugunov! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilder looking to score a takedown here. Drugunov is defending well but Wilder drives through and ends up in Drugunov's guard. Wilder has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Drugunov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Wilder really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Drugunov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Wilder throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Drugunov working for a triangle but Wilder defends it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wilder stopping the sweep attempt from Drugunov. Drugunov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wilder's guard. Wilder will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Drugunov wants to control from the top but Wilder keeps moving. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Drugunov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wilder swivels though and keeps the full guard. Drugunov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Drugunov passes into half guard. Wilder has a hand on Drugunov's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Drugunov takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

This isn't 1993 though, so Wilder shrugs it off. Drugunov is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wilder can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Wilder remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Drugunov will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! This has been an exciting period of action! Drugunov looking for the RNC. Wilder knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Drugunov on the ground. Wilder tries to roll but Drugunov sticks to his back.

Drugunov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drugunov has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Wilder! Drugunov trying to control but Wilder is having none of it. Wilder tries to hold on but Drugunov postures up. Drugunov looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Wilder is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Drugunov looking for a guillotine from mount but Wilder is having none of it. Drugunov tries to control but Wilder wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nazario Drugunov dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Drugunov has taken the fight to the clinch.

Drugunov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Drugunov lands in his opponent's guard. Wilder not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Drugunov stands and throws Wilder's legs to the side, diving into side control. Drugunov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. You can see the frustration on Wilder's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The referee asks Drugunov politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Drugunov prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilder is trying to get back to half guard. Drugunov taking a breather here. Drugunov has hold of Wilder's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Wilder seems comfortable defending it but Drugunov has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Wilder is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Wilder is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Drugunov couldn't care less - he's delighted!
