The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ace closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mcbride did well to prevent Ace getting side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mcbride is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ace's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ace's back!
Mcbride has the hooks in. Ace is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Mcbride has good solid back control here.
Mcbride has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Ace is really stuck here.
Mcbride is riding his opponent, not letting Ace buck him off.
Mcbride has got one arm under Ace's chin. This could be trouble... Ace trying to control the other hand but Mcbride gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Ace has tapped out! The fight is over!
