Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeebas Mclain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcos Anadrade!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mclain fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mclain looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Anadrade looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Anadrade tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mclain defends well and Anadrade ends up having to push Mclain into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Anadrade can't get the takedown.
Jeebas Mclain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcos Anadrade.
Mclain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Anadrade darts in looking for a takedown but Mclain gets double underhooks and turns Anadrade into the cage.
Anadrade has Mclain pressed against the cage, preventing Mclain from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Anadrade tries to score a body lock takedown but Mclain shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Mclain wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Anadrade drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mclain is pressed up against the cage. Anadrade has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mclain down to the mat. Mclain avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Anadrade shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mclain pinned against the cage. Mclain gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Anadrade darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Anadrade takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Mclain could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Anadrade really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mclain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Anadrade in particular looking to stall.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Anadrade wants to pass the guard but Mclain is defending well.

Anadrade seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Marcos Anadrade has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Anadrade gets to his feet and stands over Mclain, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Mclain felt that one! Anadrade unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Mclain from any more punishment!
