The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerrard throws a series of punches but Monson moves out of range.
Gerrard's jab looks to have found its range, popping Monson under the eye.
It looks like Jeff Monson has been cut.
Gerrard lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Monson goes down and covers up as Gerrard starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
