Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jax Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walter has chosen Black Sabbath - War Pigs as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrow scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Morrow throws a combination that misses
and Walter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Morrow fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Morrow lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Walter shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Morrow looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Morrow tries a low kick but Walter avoids it.
Walter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Morrow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Walter moves away.
Morrow moves forwards but Walter connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Walter has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Morrow throws an overhand right that lands on Walter's shoulder, as Walter tries to avoid the shot.

Walter displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Morrow throws out the jab.
Morrow does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Walter moves away from the strike by Morrow.
Jax Morrow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morrow throws a head kick that misses.
Jax Morrow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Morrow throws a body punch but Walter moves out of range.

Walter darts in looking for a takedown but Morrow gets double underhooks and turns Walter into the cage.
Morrow lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Walter backwards.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Morrow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Morrow lands with a nice combination. Walter backs away looking to recover.

Walter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Morrow as he jumps to the side.

Walter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Morrow pinned against the cage. Morrow gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Morrow goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Morrow throws a right hand that Walter ducks under and follows up with a left that Walter also avoids with ease.

Morrow rushes Walter and presses him up against the cage.
Walter is trying desperately to land a takedown but Morrow is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Walter.
Morrow on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Walter has Morrow pressed against the cage.
Morrow lands a nice uppercut.

Morrow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Morrow throws a hook but Walter blocks it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Walter tries to move into range but Morrow moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Morrow throws a hook but Walter avoids it easily.
Morrow avoids the head kick by Walter.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Morrow's jab looks to have found its range, popping Walter under the eye.
Walter ducks right into an uppercut from Morrow.
Walter misses with a few strikes there.
Morrow throws a head kick that misses.
Morrow circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Walter to the canvas! Walter doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Morrow keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

A relieved looking Jax Morrow thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
