Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valentin Ralek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Valentin Ralek!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ralek gets a clinch.
Ralek throws an elbow but it misses.
Ralek's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hardy tries to clinch up but Ralek circles away and keeps his distance.
Ralek lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hardy circles away quickly and effectively.
Hardy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hardy is defended easily by Ralek.
Ralek throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hardy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ralek as he jumps to the side.
Ralek forces Hardy back against the cage and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hardy is trying to force a seperation but Ralek has the dominant position.
Ralek pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ralek misses with a wild combination.
A jab from Ralek does it's job there.
It looks like Alexander Hardy has been cut.
Alexander Hardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardy misses with a shot to the body
and Ralek counters with a big right hand! Oh Hardy is in trouble here! Ralek follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
