Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arthur Halo! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Johnson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Halo tries to bum rush Johnson with a series of wild strikes but Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Halo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Johnson avoids it really well and circles away. Johnson lands with an uppercut that bounces Halo off the cage and back into range. Danga de danga de dang - Johnson scores with a four punch combination! Halo's coach down at Cylon Training Academy(150/week) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Halo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Nice shot lands for Johnson. Halo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Halo tries to clinch up. Johnson lands a right hook to the body.
Johnson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Johnson stuffs the takedown attempt from Halo. Halo gets slowly back to his feet. Carl Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur Halo. Halo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Johnson swivels and escapes.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck for Halo with that takedown attempt. Nice uppercut there from Johnson. Halo walks into a jab. Johnson misses with a two punch combination.
Johnson looks to land a left hand but Halo moved out of range nicely. Nice straight punches there by Johnson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Johnson. Johnson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Halo at a distance.

Carl Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Halo wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance. Nice takedown defense from Johnson. No joy for Halo on that attempt. Halo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Johnson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Carl Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Halo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Johnson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Johnson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Halo attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Johnson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Nice shot lands for Johnson. Halo walks into a straight right hand from Johnson. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Johnson lands a jab to Halo's midsection. Johnson is breathing heavily. Johnson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. A nice combination there by Johnson.
Johnson throws a hook but Halo blocks it. Halo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Halo throws a series of punches but Johnson moves out of range. Halo darts in trying to clinch enabling Johnson to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Halo is looking to clinch but Johnson is avoiding it.
Halo dives in for a single leg takedown but Johnson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Johnson breaks from the clinch.

No joy there for Halo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Johnson scores with a sloppy right hand. Halo should have avoided that one. Halo is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Johnson. Halo tries to clinch but Johnson is having none of it. Johnson lands a nice hook to Halo's body. Halo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Halo misses with a body shot.
Johnson stuns Halo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Halo tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Johnson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Halo wants to clinch. Halo tries to clinch but fails miserably and Johnson counters with a lovely shot to the body. Johnson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Johnson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Halo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Johnson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Johnson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Halo in his tracks. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Halo fails with a takedown attempt. No luck for Halo with that takedown attempt. Halo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carl Johnson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Johnson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Halo. Johnson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Johnson. Halo tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Johnson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Johnson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Halo momentarily.
Johnson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Halo. Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Halo has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Johnson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Halo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. No luck for Halo with that takedown attempt. Carl Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur Halo. Halo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Halo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively. Halo wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance. Halo on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Carl Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Halo dodges the punch combination from Johnson.
Halo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Halo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Halo closes the distance and clinches up with Johnson, looking for a takedown. Halo pushes Johnson against the cage but Johnson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Johnson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Halo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Johnson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Halo moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Halo is trying desperately to land a takedown but Johnson is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Halo. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Johnson throws a hook but Halo blocks it. Halo walks into a jab. Johnson connects with a looping right hand.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Halo shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Halo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jab by Johnson. No luck for Halo with that takedown attempt. Johnson throws a shot to the body.
Halo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Johnson throws a nice looking combination but Halo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Halo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Johnson defends well and Halo ends up having to push Johnson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Johnson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A jab from Johnson does it's job there. Johnson misses with a two punch combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Johnson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Johnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Halo circles away quickly and effectively. Halo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Johnson was covering up waiting for the punch and Halo finishes the takedown easily into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Halo throws a big elbow that misses. Halo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Halo from controlling successfully. Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Halo on the ground. Johnson wants to get back to his feet but Halo is in a dominant position and won't allow it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Halo shoots in and drives through. Johnson sprawls well. Halo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Johnson misses with the combination.
Johnson throws the left hand but Halo avoids the punch easily. Halo shoots in looking for a takedown but Johnson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Halo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Johnson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Halo eats them both and turns towards Johnson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Johnson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Johnson misses the shot to the body. Johnson looks to land a left hand but Halo moved out of range nicely. Johnson misses with the combination.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Halo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Johnson quickly recovers to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Halo seems to be working for a kimura but Johnson defends the submission attempt. Johnson is trying to stand up here but Halo is controlling him well. Halo passes to full mount! Johnson trying desperately to get to his feet.
Halo looking to finish Johnson with some ground and pound. This is bad for Johnson! Johnson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Johnson tries to get out of the position. Halo raining down shots from the mount! Johnson looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Halo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Johnson squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Halo lands with some strikes. Halo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Halo looking to control but Johnson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Johnson wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Halo.
Halo wants to control the pace but Johnson is squirming around nicely. Halo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Johnson looks a forlorn figure.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johnson taking shots to the head. Halo trying to control but Johnson is having none of it. Johnson is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Halo landing punches. Halo has isolated one of Johnson's arms. Johnson looking to fight him off but Halo twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
