Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glin Burman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Shadow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shadow has chosen Can't Be Touched as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Glin Burman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bill Shadow!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shadow drives through with a takedown into Burman's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Burman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Burman is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Xtreme Punishment that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Burman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Shadow not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Shadow's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Burman takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Burman throws a series of punches but Shadow avoids them all with ease.

Burman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shadow on the ground.

Burman seems a little lost for a moment, as Shadow dominates the positioning.
Shadow throws a strike aimed at the side of Burman's head but Burman avoids it well.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Shadow working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
