Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hosea Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tamas Singha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hosea Kerr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Tamas Singha!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerr defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Singha.
Kerr chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Singha can pounce on him.
Singha shoots and misses
and Kerr makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Singha lands with a kick to the temple. Kerr shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"


It looks like Hosea Kerr has been cut.
Kerr slaps away a takedown attempt from Singha, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hosea Kerr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tamas Singha.
Singha closes the distance and clinches up with Kerr, looking for a takedown. Singha pushes Kerr against the cage but Kerr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Singha.
Singha shoots and misses
and Kerr makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Singha looks winded!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Singha pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kerr is out of range and Singha settles back down.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Singha lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kerr has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kerr and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Singha is looking to land body kicks.

Singha fails to land the takedown.
Singha will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Singha misses with a head kick.

Kerr drives through and clinches with Singha against the cage.
Singha should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Singha's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kerr looks for a takedown but Singha sprawls well.
Kerr leaves Singha with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Kerr drives through with a takedown into Singha's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kerr lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Kerr wants to get up but he can't break Singha's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kerr has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Singha is proving hard to escape from.

We've been informed that Singha has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kerr stands up over Singha, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Hosea Kerr.
Singha dives in for a single leg takedown but Kerr sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kerr is pressed up against the cage. Singha has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kerr down to the mat. Kerr avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Singha pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Singha shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kerr pinned against the cage. Kerr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Singha defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kerr.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Hosea Kerr will probably get the nod.

The fight stays on the outside here - Singha looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Singha lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Singha will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Kerr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Singha sprawls well. Singha wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kerr gets slowly back to his feet.

Singha tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kerr defends well and Singha ends up having to push Kerr into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Kerr trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

A head kick from Singha lands but Kerr takes it in his stride.

Kerr tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Singha smiles and moves away.

Singha is looking to clinch but Kerr is avoiding it.
Tamas Singha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Singha wants to clinch but Kerr slips to the side
and Kerr counters with a big head kick but Singha shrugs it off.
Singha throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Singha connects with a solid leg kick.
Kerr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Singha tries to avoid it but Kerr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Singha to the ground. Singha escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hosea Kerr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kerr stuffs the takedown attempt from Singha. Singha gets slowly back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tamas Singha comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Kerr has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
