Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prew tries to clinch but Black moves out of range.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Black has eaten all the pies!
Black tries to clinch up.
Prew steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Black.
Prew scores with a takedown into Black's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Prew throwing strikes but missing.
Prew is looking to stand up but Black won't let him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Prew won't allow Black to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Black moves forwards but Prew connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Prew can't keep his opponent in guard - Black advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Black wants to pass to mount but Prew is defending the position.
Black is working for a kimura but Prew is defending it quite comfortably.
Black prevents Prew from improving his position.
Black wants to take a breather but Prew is having none of it.
Prew is trying to get back to full guard.
Black thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Prew's head.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Black connects with a nice short shot to Prew's temple.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Black misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Prew wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Black.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Smith Black will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Black bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Prew tries to buck Black off but Black is having none of it.
Black sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Prew is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Prew gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Prew pushes Black off looking to stand but Black dives back in and keeps control.
Black landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Prew keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Black throwing shots but Prew is blocking nicely.
Black performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Smith Black has got the better of the ground game so far.
Black seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Prew does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Prew avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Black.
Black is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Prew!
Prew takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Prew avoids a series of strikes thrown by Black.
Black thowing shots but they're missing.
Prew is working to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Black is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Prew is surviving well by controlling Black's body position as best he can.
Prew knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Black on the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Black landing strikes, looking to finish!
Black moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Prew has worked his arm free - good work by Prew!
Black throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Prew parries the strikes from Black easily there. Black is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Prew to escape.
Black creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Prew sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Black wants to lay and pray for a moment but Prew keeps working.
Black in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Black has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Black tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Prew can't do much from the bottom here.

Black throws a strike aimed at the side of Prew's head but Prew avoids it well.

Black wants to lay and pray for a moment but Prew keeps working.

Black postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Black lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Prew down.
Black is working Prew over with some ground and pound from side control.

Prew is not content to let Black control the position.
Prew struggling a bit here.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Black prevents Prew from escaping the position.
Black is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Prew looks calm but he's in trouble here. Black gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Prew is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Black lets go of the hold and Prew can pop his arm back in it's socket.
