Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Traviz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Oldskull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oldskull has chosen Hunter - Imperium Uboju as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kenny Traviz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Eric Oldskull!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oldskull tries to clinch up.
Oldskull pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Traviz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Oldskull gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Oldskull has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Traviz is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Oldskull looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Traviz tries for a takedown. No joy.
Traviz prevents Oldskull from breaking the clinch.
Oldskull tries to break free but Traviz pushes him back against the cage.
Traviz tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Oldskull smiles and moves away.

Traviz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Traviz on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Traviz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Oldskull paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Eric Oldskull seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oldskull avoids the head kick by Traviz.
Oldskull rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Traviz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Eric Oldskull is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Traviz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Traviz definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Traviz shoots in and gets a takedown into Oldskull's guard.
Oldskull can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Traviz controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Traviz gets to his feet - Oldskull follows without any prompting.

A jab lands there for Oldskull.

Oldskull gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Traviz to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Kenny Traviz has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Oldskull tries to clinch up.

Traviz closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Oldskull's guard.
Traviz wants to control from the top but Oldskull keeps moving.

Traviz is looking to pass into half guard but Oldskull pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Oldskull is in guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Traviz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oldskull on the ground.

Traviz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Oldskull as he avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Eric Oldskull will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Traviz tries to keep at a distance but Oldskull has taken the fight into the clinch.

Traviz has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Oldskull clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Traviz really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Oldskull.
Oldskull has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Traviz just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Traviz scores with punches and elbows.
Oldskull trying to get back to his feet but Traviz is in full control for now.

Oldskull finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes.
Traviz controlling the position easily from mount.
Traviz trying to control but Oldskull is having none of it.
Oldskull wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Oldskull is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Traviz.
Traviz seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Oldskull for as long as he can get away with.

Traviz is looking to finish with some ground and pound!

Oldskull rolls, trying to escape but Traviz keeps control of the position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oldskull lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Traviz circles away quickly and effectively.

Oldskull tries to clinch up but Traviz circles away and keeps his distance.

Traviz takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Kenny Traviz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Oldskull connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Traviz's hands.
Traviz thows a body kick. Oldskull tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Oldskull pushes off an throws an elbow but Traviz leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Traviz tries to pull guard but Oldskull won't allow it.
Oldskull looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Traviz manages to pull guard.

Traviz uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Traviz circles away from the clinch attempt

Traviz is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Traviz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oldskull swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Traviz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Oldskull circles away.

Oldskull leaves Traviz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Oldskull moves into range and clinches up with Traviz.
Traviz has Oldskull pressed against the cage, preventing Oldskull from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Traviz gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Oldskull regains guard.

Oldskull manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Traviz manages to get himself to full guard.
Oldskull wants to control from the top but Traviz keeps moving.
Oldskull is looking to stand up but Traviz won't let him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oldskull is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Traviz looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Oldskull passes Traviz's left leg - he's now in half guard.
