The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandela throws a head kick that misses.
Mandela does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Mandela takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Leddy misses with an uppercut. Mandela saw that one coming.
Leddy thows a body shot but no joy.
Mandela staying out of range there.
Good work by Leddy as he checks the leg kick.
Mandela slips under a jab from Leddy.
Mandela moves forwards but Leddy connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Leddy lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Leddy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mandela uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Leddy.
Mandela buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Leddy looks to score with a jab to the body but Mandela is just out of range.
Leddy throws a series of punches but Mandela moves out of range.

Leddy takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Mandela throws a leg kick which misses Leddy's front leg but catches the back leg as Leddy tries to avoid it.
Leddy finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Mandela connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Crow Leddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leddy misses with an uppercut. Mandela saw that one coming.
Mandela lands a nice looking body kick.
Mandela doesn't manage to clinch there - Leddy circles away.
Leddy throws a nice looking combination but Mandela bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Leddy stalks Mandela and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mandela's face. Mandela staggers backwards, shaken.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mandela uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Leddy.
Leddy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mandela manages to avoid it.

Mandela tries to clinch up but Leddy circles away and keeps his distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mandela creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Leddy's defenses.

Leddy is still on wobbly legs! Can Mandela finish him?
Mandela throws an elbow but it's blocked.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Leddy's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Come on Mandela - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Leddy seems to have recovered his senses.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Mandela fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Leddy, pushing him back against the cage.

Mandela pushes off an throws an elbow but Leddy leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Leddy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mandela avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Leddy takes an elbow to the temple.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Mandela.
Mandela creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Leddy! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Mandela.
