Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Purple Haze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pete Gordon!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon throws a head kick but Haze moves out of range.
Haze misses with a takedown attempt
and Gordon counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gordon.
Gordon wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Gordon should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Gordon gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Haze tries to get to full guard but Gordon has control of the leg.
Haze makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Haze.
Haze is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gordon is aware though and is defending well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Haze has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Gordon should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Haze has tightened it up now! Gordon should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
