The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamasuki closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Yamasuki tries to move into full mount but can't pass Nope's legs.
A lull in the action here.
Nope prevents Yamasuki from moving into mount.
Yamasuki looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Nope is trying to buck Yamasuki off.
Yamasuki tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Yamasuki is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nope knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Yamasuki creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Nope sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Nope is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Yamasuki throws some wild stikes that Nope manages to avoid easily.
Nope is squirming around, avoiding Yamasuki's attempts to control the action.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Yamasuki has eaten all the pies!

Nope wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Yamasuki.
Yamasuki trying to control but Nope is having none of it.
Yamasuki is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Nope is surviving well by controlling Yamasuki's body position as best he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yamasuki moves to the back position.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Yamasuki's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Yamasuki is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Nope has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Yamasuki has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Nope is in real trouble here. Yamasuki gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Nope is tapping out! Yamasuki wins by rear naked choke!
