Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lonje Moco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Randy Jones has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randy Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lonje Moco!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Moco takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jones cracks a nice hook into Moco's ribs.
Moco drops his hands momentarily and Jones takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Moco throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range.
Jones tests Moco's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jones darts in looking for a takedown but Moco gets double underhooks and turns Jones into the cage.
Moco blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Jones is trying to push Moco away but Moco has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Moco jumps guard but Jones turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Jones has clasped his hands together around Moco's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jones is trying to get an arm triangle but Moco is defending well.

Jones working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Moco is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.

Moco is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've been hearing good reports from Jones's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Moco really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Moco slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Jones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Moco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Moco doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Moco manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Moco must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jones looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moco shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jones napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Moco's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Moco's back!
Jones is trying to stick to Moco's back but Moco is turning into Jones. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Jones's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Moco.

Jones pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Moco taps out and this one is all over!
