Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fat Bastard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar Ramsus!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramsus forces Bastard back against the cage and clinches.
Bastard wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ramsus has him pressed against the cage.
Bastard is looking to break free of the clinch but Ramsus has double underhooks.
Bastard is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ramsus can't fight it off and eventually Bastard manages to take the fight to the floor. Ramsus looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bastard would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bastard gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Bastard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ramsus moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bastard scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Bastard misses with a two punch combination.
Bastard looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bastard rushes Ramsus and presses him up against the cage.
Ramsus connects with a nasty looking knee right to Bastard's face.
It looks like Fat Bastard has been cut.
Bastard avoiding damage as Ramsus throws knees to the body.
Bastard wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bastard drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ramsus gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ramsus's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ramsus is looking to control Bastard's arms but Bastard gets an underhook and turns him. Now Ramsus has his back to the cage.
Ramsus lands a nice elbow.
Bastard can't break the clinch.
Ramsus is pressed up against the cage. Bastard has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ramsus down to the mat. Ramsus avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ramsus swinging wilding here.
Bastard swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ramsus counters with a huge head kick that drops Bastard! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oscar Ramsus!
