Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryce Mckinney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and I C Wiener (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I C Wiener will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, I C Wiener!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiener wants to clinch.
Wiener displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mckinney throws out the jab.

Wiener scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Wiener seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Mckinney is looking to control Wiener's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mckinney avoid being mounted?
It looks like Wiener is going to stand back up.
Mckinney really is a fat lump.
Wiener seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mckinney does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bryce Mckinney.
Wiener tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mckinney swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mckinney is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Mckinney shoots in for a takedown but Wiener shows good takedown defense.
Mckinney changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wiener tries to avoid it but Mckinney manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wiener to the ground. Wiener escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

No joy there for Wiener, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wiener tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mckinney manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wiener swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Wiener is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Mckinney reverses the position - he's now on top in Wiener's guard.
Wiener has momentary wrist control but Mckinney slips an elbow through the middle.
Mckinney has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mckinney tries to stand but Wiener is controlling from the bottom.

Mckinney drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mckinney jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Wiener pushes Mckinney off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Mckinney throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wiener's waist but Wiener gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mckinney off to one side.

Wiener moves in looking to clinch but Mckinney pushes him off.

Mckinney fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Mckinney counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wiener's guard now.
Mckinney controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bryce Mckinney overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Wiener is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Mckinney sitting in guard, not really doing much.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bryce Mckinney wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Wiener wants to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bryce Mckinney will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Mckinney looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wiener is fending him off so far but Mckinney persists. Nope, Wiener circles away and we're back to standing.

Wiener throws a right and a left that Mckinney avoids nicely.
Mckinney tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wiener sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mckinney somewhat.

Mckinney has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

I C Wiener comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Mckinney has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
