Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake The Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mordechai Marx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake The Snake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mordechai Marx!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Eliza Hachem and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Marx told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Mordechai Marx has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
The crowd cheers as Marx lands an impressive looking overhand right. The Snake doesn't seem phased though.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mordechai Marx was stalling too much, according to the referee.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

It looks like Jake The Snake has been cut.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We're going to have a standup here because Jake The Snake wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Marx throws a big shot that misses.

The Snake manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Marx on his heels. He'll look to pass Marx's guard now, I'm sure.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting The Snake here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The Snake is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Marx goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for The Snake!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jake The Snake!
Jake The Snake gave a mention to Tokyo United Fightwear in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
