Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitch Ragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mitch Ragon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frank Scott! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ragon clinches. Scott blocks an elbow strike from Ragon.
Ragon gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Scott.
Scott manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Scott trying to control the position here. Scott looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ragon passes into side control.
Ragon decides to take the fight back to the feet. Ragon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Scott, pushing him back against the cage. Scott turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Scott manages to end up in side control. The referee asks Scott politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Scott prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ragon wants to get back to his feet but Scott drags him back down. Scott happy to just control the position for now.

Frank Scott has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Ragon has closed the distance and engaged Scott in a clinch.

Mitch Ragon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Scott. Ragon landing knees to the head.
It looks like Frank Scott has been cut. Scott looks winded! Ragon lands a body punch in the clinch. Scott changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ragon fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Mitch Ragon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ragon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Ragon breaks the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Scott shoots in for a double leg but Ragon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ragon throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Scott. Ragon forces Scott back against the cage and clinches. Ragon lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Scott manages to get to full guard.
Scott is adopting a defensive guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ragon defends well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Scott can do anything to dispel that myth. Scott has his foot on Ragon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ragon works his way back into a safe position though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ragon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Scott is proving hard to escape from. Scott working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ragon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ragon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mitch Ragon will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Frank Scott's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ragon rushes Scott and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ragon is pressed up against the cage. Scott has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ragon down to the mat. Ragon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Scott drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Scott controlling from side mount. Ragon wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Ragon is letting Scott control him for a moment. Frank Scott has got the better of the ground game so far. Scott is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Frank Scott hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Ragon clinches up with Scott and pushes him back against the cage. Ragon scores with a hook to the body. Ragon avoiding damage as Scott throws knees to the body.
Scott drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ragon pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ragon rushes Scott and presses him up against the cage. Scott tries to pull guard but Ragon won't allow it.
Mitch Ragon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Scott. Ragon connects with a nasty looking knee right to Scott's face.

Mitch Ragon has scored more points in the clinch so far. Scott is looking to break free of the clinch but Ragon has double underhooks. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A right hand to the body from Ragon.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Ragon. Ragon unloads a knee to the mid-section. Ragon goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Scott pulls guard successfully.
Ragon is looking to stand up but Scott won't let him. Ragon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scott has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ragon has managed to get both his arms back between Scott's legs - danger averted. Scott pulls Ragon in close to his closed guard and prevents Ragon from doing any damage or advancing position. Ragon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Scott is proving hard to escape from. Ragon being controlled here momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ragon wants to get up but he can't break Scott's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Scott is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Mitch Ragon just wasn't active enough. Ragon throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mitch Ragon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Scott feints and as Ragon raises his hands in defense, Scott changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Scott is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ragon can't fight it off and eventually Scott manages to take the fight to the floor. Ragon looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Ragon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Scott controls the pace. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Frank Scott wasn't active enough on the ground. Ragon closes the distance and clinches. Scott is trying to trip Ragon. He has hold of a leg but Ragon is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Scott persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Scott showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Ragon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Scott slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Ragon misses with a hook from the clinch. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Scott. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Scott has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Ragon is trying to keep an underhook but Scott manages to get the takedown into half guard. Scott wants to control but Ragon is keeping him busy. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Scott is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Scott passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ragon!
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Scott comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Scott has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
