Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luke Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samin Ax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Light comes to the cage accompanied by Kasabian - Club Foot. Samin Ax is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luke Light! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Samin Ax! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ax needs to keep his hands up - Light had a free shot at his head there. Ax shoots for a takedown but Light saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Light smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Ax misses with a takedown attempt - Light sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Light misses with a wild combination.
Ax throws a shot to the body.
Light looks to land a combination. Ax sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Ax is rocked! Ax darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Light is trying to stand up here but Ax is controlling him well. Ax thows a huge punch but Light dodges it nicely.
Light is looking to improve his position.
Ax is thwarting Light's attempts to control the position. Light wants to get back to his feet. Ax thows a huge punch but Light dodges it nicely.
Ax is trying to control the action in half guard but Light is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ax prevents Light from improving his position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A punch combination from Light misses. Light connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ax momentarily.
Light throws a series of punches but Ax moves out of range. We've been told by Light's head coaches at Hate Made Me Asylum that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Light lands a jab-cross combination. A looping hook to the body misses from Ax. Light does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Light throws a right and a left that Ax avoids nicely. Light keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ax walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Ax is still on wobbly legs! Can Light finish him? Light throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ax. Ax seems to have recovered his senses. Ax looks to score with a jab to the body but Light is just out of range. Ax misses with a wild body shot. Luke Light is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ax takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Light throws a series of punches but Ax moves out of range. Light lands a slapping body shot.
Ax takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Light misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Ax counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Decent striking displayed by Light there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Light lands with an overhand left. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luke Light dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A right-left combo lands from Light. Light throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Light connects with a crisp jab. No joy there for Light, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Light lands with an overhand left. Light feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ax sprawling to the canvas! Ax rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Light finish him?!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Light misses with a body shot.
Ax looks up at the clock. Bad move! Light lands a right hand from hell, dropping Ax. Light pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luke Light! Our winner, Luke Light, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
