Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Adolphson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith has chosen The Mercenary as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Alexander Adolphson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Smith misses with a leg kick.
Smith ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Adolphson moves away.
Smith throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Smith waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Adolphson.
Smith uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Adolphson.
Adolphson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smith.
Adolphson throws a poor cross that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Adolphson throws out a loose jab but Smith uses good head movement to avoid it.
Smith takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Adolphson takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Smith misses with a hook. Adolphson ducked under it nicely.

Smith swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Adolphson.

Smith avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Smith moves into the clinch successfully.
Smith wants to break free but Adolphson has control.
Still in the clinch, Adolphson scores with a nice short uppercut.
Smith stalling in the clinch but Adolphson improves position.
Smith wants to get back to striking at distance but Adolphson won't allow it.
Adolphson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Smith backwards.
Smith blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Smith trying to control the position but instead, Adolphson has worked for underhooks and has pushed Smith into the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Adolphson.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Adolphson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Adolphson misses with some punches.
Smith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

A punch lands to the side of Adolphson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
An inside leg kick lands from Adolphson.
Smith throws a series of punches but Adolphson moves out of range.

Adolphson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Smith sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Smith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Adolphson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Smith swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Adolphson on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Adolphson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Adolphson was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith.

Adolphson throws a hook to the side of Smith's head but Smith sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Adolphson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Smith scores with a kick to the body.
Smith takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Adolphson fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Smith is out of range.

and Smith counters with a straight right hand.
Adolphson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Smith throws a body punch but Adolphson moves out of range.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Adolphson, right into the meat.

Smith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Adolphson lands a jab to the head.

Adolphson lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Smith crumples to the floor! Adolphson milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
