A fine choice. Allan Newmann will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Knez Lazar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Allan Newmann!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazar swings for the body but Newmann moves out of range.
Lazar shoots in but no luck this time.
Newmann moves in looking to clinch but Lazar pushes him off.
Lazar looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Newmann closes the distance and clinches up with Lazar, looking for a takedown. Newmann pushes Lazar against the ropes but Lazar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Newmann shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lazar as he avoids it easily.
Newmann is looking to clinch but Lazar is avoiding it.
Newmann tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Lazar counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Newmann is defending against the submission attempts here by Lazar.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Newmann is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Lazar wants to work for an arm triangle but Newmann is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Lazar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Newmann knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Lazar passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Newmann!
Lazar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Newmann tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Lazar is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Newmann has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Newmann!
Lazar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lazar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lazar is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Newmann has his hands clasped together but Lazar extends and breaks Newmann's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Lazar.
