Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Finn Bertelsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans G Peak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finn Bertelsen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Finn Bertelsen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hans G Peak! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! G Peak fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bertelsen sprawls well initially but G Peak persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. G Peak gets to his feet - back to striking we go! G Peak bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. G Peak stands up. Bertelsen fails with a takedown attempt. G Peak throws a leg kick which misses Bertelsen's front leg but catches the back leg as Bertelsen tries to avoid it. Bertelsen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but G Peak avoids it really well and circles away. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bertelsen stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from G Peak. Bertelsen avoids a punch combination nicely.
A combination from G Peak does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. G Peak lands a high kick!
Bertelsen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but G Peak avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Finn Bertelsen. That's going to take a lot out of him. G Peak decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. G Peak controlling the pace. G Peak wants to pass the guard but Bertelsen is defending well. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. G Peak content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. G Peak postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Bertelsen to stand up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. G Peak throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bertelsen closes the distance and clinches up with G Peak, looking for a takedown. Bertelsen pushes G Peak against the ropes but G Peak circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bertelsen fails in his attempt to clinch. We've been told by Bertelsen's head coaches at Titan Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Bertelsen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as G Peak sprawls well. G Peak wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bertelsen gets slowly back to his feet. Bertelsen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bertelsen walks forward, straight into a front kick from G Peak. Bertelsen has a takedown stuffed. G Peak throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bertelsen. G Peak's coach down at **CENTRUM GYM** was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on G Peak's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Bertelsen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. G Peak misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Bertelsen enables G Peak to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bertelsen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. G Peak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bertelsen swivels though and keeps the full guard. G Peak showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bertelsen is working an open guard so G Peak takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. G Peak lands a head kick!
G Peak manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bertelsen on his heels. He'll look to pass Bertelsen's guard now, I'm sure. G Peak is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. G Peak gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bertelsen. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bertelsen misses with a takedown attempt - G Peak sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. G Peak lands with an overhand left. Bertelsen shoots for a double leg takedown but G Peak sprawls well. He's pushed Bertelsen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bertelsen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Some wild striking there from G Peak.
G Peak is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. G Peak throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bertelsen. G Peak throws a head kick but Bertelsen moves out of range.
G Peak scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Bertelsen gets caught napping as G Peak dives in and scores a takedown. Bertelsen manages to retain guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! G Peak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bertelsen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bertelsen looking for a sweep. Not yet Bertelsen, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hans G Peak dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bertelsen shoots in and drives through. G Peak sprawls well. Hans G Peak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. G Peak scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Whack! G Peak lands a heavy head kick that drops Bertelsen. The ref tackles G Peak to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Bertelsen was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Hans G Peak!
