Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Lesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 47 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mountain Rivera!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lesnar as he avoids it easily.
We've been told by Lesnar's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lesnar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rivera shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lesnar counters with a good low kick that Rivera was not able to check.
Brock Lesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mountain Rivera.

Rivera drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lesnar gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Lesnar tries to circle away but Rivera has him pinned against the cage.

Rivera has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lesnar after a bit of a struggle.
Lesnar pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Lesnar drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rivera gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Lesnar is trying to break free.

Rivera has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lesnar is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Lesnar gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Lesnar trying to mount his opponent but Rivera defends it.

Lesnar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rivera keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Lesnar wants to control but Rivera is keeping him busy.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lesnar connects with a nice short shot to Rivera's temple.
Lesnar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Lesnar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rivera does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rivera is trying to maintain the position but Lesnar is very close to passing his half guard.
Lesnar uses his free foot to push down on Rivera's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rivera.

Lesnar pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Lesnar sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Rivera is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
The referee warns Rivera that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Lesnar is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Rivera has managed to escape the submission attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lesnar lands a nice shot to the head.

Rivera is rocked!
A big strike lands for Lesnar! That's really hurt Rivera and he's turned his back - Lesnar keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Lesnar jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brock Lesnar!
