Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbo Slice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Hunt!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt clinches with his opponent.
Hunt is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Slice pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Slice successfully pulls guard.
Hunt throws a big elbow that misses.
Slice is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Slice looking for a sweep. Not yet Slice, not yet.
Hunt throwing strikes from guard but Slice blocks nicely.
Slice is trying to control the position but Hunt postures up.
Slice looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Hunt has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Slice is proving hard to escape from.
Slice had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hunt defends it easily.
Hunt tries to stand but Slice is controlling from the bottom.

Slice has his foot on Hunt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hunt works his way back into a safe position though.
Slice looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hunt postures up in Slice's guard and throws a big left but Slice blocks it.
Hunt throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Slice works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Slice not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hunt throws a big elbow that misses.
Slice can't keep his opponent in guard - Hunt advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Hunt is trying to control. Slice wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slice is in trouble now - Hunt has advanced to mount!
Hunt lands a big shot there that rocks Slice but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hunt cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Slice is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hunt goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Slice is on top in guard.
Hunt is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Slice is aware though and is defending well.
Hunt keeping moving, preventing Slice from controlling successfully.
Slice working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Hunt is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Slice is controlling him.
Hunt working for a triangle but Slice defends it easily.

Hunt working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Slice.
Hunt is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Slice passes into half guard.
Slice looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Slice is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Hunt tries to get to full guard but Slice has control of the leg.

Slice is trying to control the action in half guard but Hunt is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Slice stops Hunt from getting back to his feet.
Hunt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Slice is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Slice is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Hunt has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Slice is working away from the top position though.
Hunt tries to kick Slice off but Slice keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Slice sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hunt defending well though.
Hunt manages to get to full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Slice pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hunt is keeping the position for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Hunt dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hunt shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Slice defends it nicely.
Slice gets a clinch.
Hunt wants to break free but Slice has control.
Slice has Hunt pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hunt manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Slice jumps into guard, dragging Hunt to the mat.
Hunt throws a big right hand that misses.
Slice manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Slice landing punches.
Hunt can't escape the position.
Hunt felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Hunt sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Slice passes into side control, despite Hunt's attempt to control the position.
Mark Hunt has got the better of the ground game so far.

Hunt is looking for a sweep.
Hunt wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Slice tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Slice lands some shots froms side control.
Hunt gets back to half guard.
Slice wants to stand up but Hunt has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Slice is thwarting Hunt's attempts to control the position.
Slice works his way into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slice landing strikes from the mount and Hunt is in trouble!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Slice scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Hunt taking shots to the head.
Hunt is rocked!
It looks like Mark Hunt has been cut.
Slice tries to control but Hunt wriggling away.
Hunt is still in real trouble! Can Slice finish him?
Hunt wants to get back to his feet.
Hunt seems to have recovered his senses.
Slice lands with some strikes.

Slice lands a big elbow - Hunt is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Hunt is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Kimbo Slice!
After the fight, Kimbo Slice was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
