Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jan Standell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Timber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Standell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ty Timber! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Standell lands a head kick. Timber smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Timber shoots for a takedown but Standell saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Timber looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Timber looks to clinch and Standell counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Timber has a takedown stuffed. Standell moves into the clinch. Standell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Timber misses with a head kick.
A jab from Standell misses. Standell scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Standell is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Standell's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Timber is looking to get back to full guard here but Standell has managed to pass to side control instead. Standell has hold of Timber's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Timber seems comfortable defending it but Standell has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Timber is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Timber is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Standell couldn't care less - he's delighted!
