Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Zalama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thanir Todds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miguel Zalama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thanir Todds! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Todds tries for a takedown but Zalama sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Todds gets a clinch. Zalama tries to stall but Todds uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Todds just leaning against Zalama, taking a breather. Todds landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Zalama wants to get back to striking at distance but Todds won't allow it.
Todds's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Zalama wants to clinch. Zalama tries to clinch but Todds moves away and Todds counters with a good, hard body kick but Zalama shrugs it off. Todds closes the distance and pushes Zalama back into the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Todds digs a right hand into Zalama's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Zalama's gas tank. Todds's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Zalama looks to land a combination but Todds avoids it well. Todds drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Todds has knee on belly and moves into mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Todds manages to capitalize on a mistake by Zalama to take his back! I would not like to be Zalama right now.
It looks like Todds might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Zalama is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Todds slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Todds really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Zalama. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Zalama has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Todds.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Todds is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Zalama knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Zalama for a finish. Zalama is in bad spot here.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Zalama rolls, trying to escape but Todds keeps control of the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Zalama wants to control his opponent's hands but Todds gets his hands free. Zalama knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Todds on the ground. Todds is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

That will dishearten Zalama somewhat. Zalama tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Todds paws at him with a jab and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horrible takedown by Zalama or perhaps it was just good defense by Todds which made him look bad. Todds clinches up against the cage. Zalama tries to break free but Todds pushes him back against the cage. Todds goes for a takedown in the clinch but Zalama prevents it.

Thanir Todds showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Miguel Zalama's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Todds has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Todds fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Miguel Zalama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thanir Todds. Todds throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zalama's waist but Zalama gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Todds off to one side. Todds closes the distance and lands a one-two. Zalama shoots in for a takedown but Todds shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Nice uppercut lands for Todds. That snapped Zalama's head back.

Todds gets control of Zalama's arms and successfully pulls guard. Todds will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Zalama throws a big right hand that misses. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zalama is looking to stand up but Todds won't let him. Zalama works his way back into a safe position though. Zalama looking to sit in guard and control but Todds gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Todds slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Thanir Todds comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Todds has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
