Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kevin Mcclaren! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Olavur Standley! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcclaren is looking to clinch but Standley is avoiding it.
A clash of legs there as Standley blocks the low kick. Mcclaren circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mcclaren tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Standley defends well and Mcclaren ends up having to push Standley into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Standley tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mcclaren just stands there and leans against the cage. Mcclaren manages to break the clinch.
Standley wants to clinch. Mcclaren closes the distance and pushes Standley back into the cage. Mcclaren breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mcclaren stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mcclaren wants it to stay on the feet. Mcclaren pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mcclaren gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Mcclaren escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Standley wants to clinch up but Mcclaren keeps it at a distance. Standley is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Standley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mcclaren fails with the takedown and Standley moves into the clinch.

Mcclaren fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Standley avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Mcclaren. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mcclaren swings away with a body shot that misses
and Standley counters by moving into the clinch. Mcclaren wants to break the clinch but can't.

Standley tries to clinch up. Mcclaren is looking to clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Standley looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mcclaren could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Standley shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mcclaren defends it nicely. Mcclaren swings away with a body shot that misses
and Standley moves into the clinch. Mcclaren manages to break the clinch.

and Standley counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Standley. Standley drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mcclaren pulls his leg out and moves away.
Standley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mcclaren paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Standley as Mcclaren shoots in. The fight stays on the outside here - Standley looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mcclaren seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. No luck with that takedown attempt from Mcclaren. Mcclaren moves in looking to clinch but Standley pushes him off. Standley circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Standley fails in his attempt to clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position. Mcclaren is trying to break free. Mcclaren breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Standley looks for a takedown but Mcclaren sprawls well. Standley avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcclaren manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Mcclaren has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Standley should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Mcclaren has tightened it up now! Standley should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
