The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Devin moves forwards but Nelson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Devin's coach down at MMA Sanok Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Devin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Nelson lands with a nice combination. Devin backs away looking to recover.
Nelson thuds a left hand into Devin's body.
Devin takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Devin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nelson swivels and escapes.
Nelson cracks Devin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Devin is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nelson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Devin is still on wobbly legs! Can Nelson finish him?
Nelson misses with a straight right.

Nelson looks to land a left hand but Devin moved out of range nicely.
Devin doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Nelson counters with a huge left! Devin is in big trouble! He's backing up but Nelson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Devin from any more damage. A dominating finish by Nelson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rogers Nelson!
