The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger scores with a jab. Nevsky acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Nevsky misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nevsky throws a series of punches but Kruger avoids them all with ease.
Vinicius Kruger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kruger throws a lazy uppercut
and Nevsky counters with a nice uppercut.
Kruger thows a left - swing and a miss!
Horrible takedown by Nevsky or perhaps it was just good defense by Kruger which made him look bad.

Kruger wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Nevsky blocks a jab.
Nevsky gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kruger cracks Nevsky on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Nevsky falls backwards against the cage. Kruger follows up with more strikes that drop Nevsky to his knees. Kruger keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Nevsky! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vinicius Kruger!
Our winner, Vinicius Kruger, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Alexander Nevsky was interviewed post fight and said 'Well ... what can I say ... my opponent was better than me tonight and congratulations for him! But I will come back strong and better prepared next time and put on a show for you guys !!!!'.
