The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Reyes's head backwards.
West throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Reyes takes one to the side of the head.
Reyes fails with an attempt to clinch.

Reyes gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Reyes taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Reyes seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
West is trying to break free.
Reyes is trying to maintain a safe position but West gets an underhook and turns Reyes into the cage.
West tries to break the clinch but Reyes is controlling the position.
West is trying to break the clinch but Reyes has him pressed against the cage.
Reyes keeps the fight in the clinch, despite West's efforts to push away.
West has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Reyes takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Johnny Reyes.
West scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Reyes doesn't seem bothered though.

West throws a nice looking combination but Reyes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Reyes seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. West shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Reyes is backing up but West catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Reyes covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! West Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
