Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike BossMan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliver Williams has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mike BossMan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike BossMan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Oliver Williams!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams throws a head kick but BossMan moves out of range.
BossMan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Williams swivels and escapes.
Williams throws the kick towards the body but BossMan avoids it.
BossMan throws a series of punches but Williams avoids them all with ease.
Williams tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but BossMan paws at him with a jab and circles away.

BossMan dives in and scores a takedown into Williams's guard.
BossMan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Williams is proving hard to escape from.
BossMan controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
BossMan wants to pass the guard but Williams is keeping the position.
Williams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
BossMan wants to stand but Williams has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

BossMan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
BossMan wants to get up but he can't break Williams's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

BossMan shoots in looking for a takedown but Williams manages to keep the fight standing, pushing BossMan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Williams darts in looking for a takedown but BossMan gets double underhooks and turns Williams into the ropes.

BossMan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
BossMan looks to land a body kick but Williams moved away.
BossMan misses with a body shot.

BossMan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - BossMan lands in his opponent's guard.
Williams wants to control the position but BossMan says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
BossMan is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Williams!
Williams tries to control BossMan's body but BossMan pushes him off. Williams squirms to his side and now BossMan has his back!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

BossMan is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Williams knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Williams for a finish.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

BossMan is not going to allow Williams to sit and survive in this position.

Williams is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted.

Mike BossMan has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Williams shoots in for a double leg but BossMan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

BossMan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Williams sprawls well initially but BossMan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
BossMan looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

BossMan throws a push kick but Williams slaps the foot to one side.
Williams has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as BossMan is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Williams is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.

BossMan gets to his feet - Williams follows without any prompting.

BossMan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

BossMan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no BossMan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Williams is working to avoid the ground and pound but BossMan connects with a decent elbow.
BossMan wants to control but Williams is keeping him busy.

BossMan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Williams knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
