Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janis blocks a head kick by Sanchez.
The fight stays on the outside here - Janis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Janis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Janis showed some decent athleticism there.

It looks like Alvaro Sanchez has been cut.
Janis is taking a breather. Sanchez says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Sanchez kicks Janis off and gets back to his feet.
Janis shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Janis prevents Sanchez from standing back up.
Janis moves nicely into side control.
Sanchez is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Janis has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Janis content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Janis is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sanchez has escaped the position, nice work there.

Janis lands some shots froms side control.
Janis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sanchez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Sanchez is not content to let Janis control the position.

Janis grinds an elbow into Sanchez's temple.
Alvaro Sanchez's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Janis prevents Sanchez from escaping the position.

Jeez, Alvaro Sanchez's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alvaro Sanchez's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
