Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cameron Corley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gage Gagnetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corley kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Comatose/Skillet. Cameron Corley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gage Gagnetti! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gagnetti sprawls well initially but Corley persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Gagnetti trying to get back to full guard but Corley takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Gagnetti can't escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Corley looking to control and managing it successfully. Corley has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Corley is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Gagnetti has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Corley landing strikes from the mount and Gagnetti is in trouble! Corley is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Gagnetti has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Gagnetti!
That's one minute gone in the round. Gagnetti works a leg free and moves into half guard. Gagnetti is working for a kimura but Corley is defending it quite comfortably.
Gagnetti wants to pass the guard but Corley is defending well. Gagnetti missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Gagnetti is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Corley doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gagnetti. Gagnetti thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Corley's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gagnetti works his foot free and advances to mount. Corley tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gagnetti is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Corley is surviving well by controlling Gagnetti's body position as best he can. Gagnetti looks gassed! Corley is desperately trying to improve his position but Gagnetti has a good base and remains in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gagnetti lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Ooooh, that looks tight… Corley is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Corley and Gagnetti has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Corley is not content to let Gagnetti control the position. Corley pushes Gagnetti away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gagnetti gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Corley is trying to get back to half guard. Corley dodges the ground and pound from Gagnetti. Gagnetti swings around for an armbar but Corley sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gagnetti's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Corley tries to free his leg and advance position but Gagnetti is retaining full guard. Corley gets to his feet. Gagnetti looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Corley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gagnetti paws at him with a jab and circles away. Corley shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Corley was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Corley prevents Gagnetti from getting the reversal. Corley wants to control the pace but Gagnetti is squirming around nicely. Corley manages to capitalize on a mistake by Gagnetti to take his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cameron Corley dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gagnetti gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Corley counters with a single leg into guard. Gagnetti didn't expect that. Corley not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Gagnetti escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Corley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Corley tries to free his leg and advance position but Gagnetti is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Corley is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gagnetti is on top in guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Corley is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corley has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Gagnetti off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. A good leg kick by Gagnetti. Gagnetti with a poor takedown and Corley counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gagnetti's guard now. Gagnetti keeping moving, preventing Corley from controlling successfully. Corley with a nice head shot there. Corley is posturing up here but Gagnetti has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Corley tries to roll out but it's too tight and Corley has to tap! Slick submission there by Gagnetti!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Gage Gagnetti!
