Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boniface Boccasio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Maskrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maskrey has chosen Amazing- Kanye West as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boniface Boccasio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan Maskrey!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maskrey shoots for a double leg takedown but Boccasio sprawls well. He's pushed Maskrey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Maskrey misses the jab.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Maskrey.
Maskrey throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Boccasio tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Maskrey is in Boccasio's guard.
Boccasio is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Stark Slugger Society - NY that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Maskrey wants to control from the top but Boccasio keeps moving.
Boccasio has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Maskrey tries to clinch but Boccasio moves out of range.
Maskrey shoots for a takedown but Boccasio saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Maskrey closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Boccasio manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Maskrey tries to lock up and control but Boccasio gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Boccasio takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boccasio is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Maskrey can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Boccasio moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Maskrey has worked his arm free - good work by Maskrey!

Boccasio's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boccasio turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Boccasio manages to end up in side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You get the feeling that Maskrey really doesn't like being in this position too much.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Boniface Boccasio is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Maskrey is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Boccasio controlling the position well here. Maskrey rolled but Boccasio kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
You can see the frustration on Maskrey's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Boccasio has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
You can see the frustration on Maskrey's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Boccasio, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
