The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Harri is pressing down on Richards's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Richards tries to free his leg and advance position but Harri is retaining full guard.

Harri throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Richardss head.

Harri fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Harri.
Richards tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Harri just stands there and leans against the cage.

Harri lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Harri stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Richards swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Harri slips nicely into half guard.
Harri is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Harri trying to mount his opponent but Richards defends it.
Richards kicks Harri off and gets back to his feet.
Harri fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Richards keeps the fight on the outside.
Harri lands a jab to the nose.
The crowd cheers as Harri lands an impressive looking overhand right. Richards doesn't seem phased though.
Harri throws a series of punches but Richards avoids them all with ease.
Richards goes for a double leg but Harri avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Harri continues to drive forward.

Harri misses with a shot to the kidneys.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Richards is pressed up against the cage. Harri has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Richards down to the mat. Richards avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Harri scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Richards doesn't seem bothered though.
Harri is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Richards rather than just go for the knockout.

Richards shoots in looking for a takedown but Harri manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Richards's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Richards circles away from the clinch attempt.
Harri stuffs the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hullu Harri dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Harri is trying to get an arm triangle but Richards is defending well.
Richards is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Harri thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Harri has an Americana. Richards didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Harri is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Harri hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
