Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Peter James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Somchai Ubon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Somchai Ubon!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - James throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
James lands a jab to Ubon's midsection.
Ubon on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Ubon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fighters circle momentarily. James darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ubon is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ubon slips a jab from James.
Ubon is still on wobbly legs! Can James finish him?
James throws a hook but Ubon avoids it easily.
Peter James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. James engages and cracks Ubon with a massive lead left hook - Ubon tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! James is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peter James!
A relieved looking Peter James thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
