Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between D Lo Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and hasan halilbasic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown's entrance music is Drunken Lullabies. A fine choice. D Lo Brown has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
halilbasic looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
halilbasic tries a head kick but it misses.
halilbasic tries to clinch there but Brown circles away.
Brown takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The fight stays on the outside here - halilbasic looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
halilbasic drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
halilbasic gets to mount! Brown was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

halilbasic can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brown is looking to escape.
halilbasic can't control as he wanted to and Brown manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

Brown tries to roll over but halilbasic keeps him under control.

Brown moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Brown escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. halilbasic gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Brown doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
halilbasic throws a strike but Brown rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That was a close round but I would say that D Lo Brown will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Brown closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Brown connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused halilbasic some visible discomfort.
halilbasic tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Brown wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Brown creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
A lull in the action here as Brown stalls from top position.
Brown is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. halilbasic knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Brown lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

D Lo Brown dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Brown looks to land a combination. halilbasic sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Brown gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and halilbasic counters with a head kick. That will keep Brown thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Brown throws a series of punches but halilbasic avoids them all with ease.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but halilbasic can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Brown lands a slapping body shot.
Brown cracks halilbasic with an open hand slap.

and Brown counters with a shoot takedown. halilbasic fights it but they end up in guard.

Brown with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
halilbasic striking off his back but it's not causing Brown any problems.
Brown is working halilbasic over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
D Lo Brown is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

halilbasic can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brown controls the pace.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
halilbasic looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Brown has picked halilbasic up and slammed him! halilbasic can't keep hold of the triangle and Brown manages to pass to side control!
And that's the end of the fight!
D Lo Brown showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Brown has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
