Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carol Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dynatos Ellhnas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carol Nash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dynatos Ellhnas!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellhnas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ellhnas lands a really nice looking cross but Nash seems unphased.


It looks like Carol Nash has been cut.
Ellhnas throws a chopping leg kick but Nash manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Ellhnas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nash takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ellhnas throws a leg kick that misses.
Ellhnas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nash checks a leg kick.
Ellhnas looks to land a combination but Nash avoids it well.
Ellhnas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nash circles away quickly and effectively.
Ellhnas fails to land with a series of punches.
Ellhnas throws a leg kick but Nash moved away.
Ellhnas misses with a few strikes there.
Ellhnas listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ellhnas falls off balance throwing a combination

and Nash counters with a nice double leg into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Nash stays in close to Ellhnas's body and controls the position.
Nash is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Nash drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nash jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Nash slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Ellhnas wants to get back to his feet but Nash passes into half guard.
Nash lands strikes from half guard.
Nash takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Nash is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ellhnas defends it well.
Ground and pound from Nash.
Nash really is a fat lump.

Nash is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Nash thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Nash controlling the action here.
Nash is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Ellhnas looks like he's trying to stand up.
Nash winds up and cracks Ellhnas with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Nash has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Nash controlling the action here.
Nash drops an elbow to the side of Ellhnas's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nash looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ellhnas with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Nash is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Nash scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Nash lands strikes from half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ellhnas is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Nash scores with a couple of nice shots.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nash performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Ellhnas throws a combination that misses

so Nash counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Nash seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nash accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ellhnas wants to stand but Nash is controlling the position.
Carol Nash overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Nash is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Carol Nash.
No joy there for Ellhnas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ellhnas tries to clinch but Nash moves away

and Nash counters by clinching up.
Ellhnas tries to break the clinch but Nash is controlling the position.

Nash has picked Ellhnas up - he's going for a ride! Nash dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Ellhnas is looking to get back to is feet but Nash passes into side control.
Nash slows the pace down.
Ellhnas bucks up and tries to throw Nash off but instead Nash has got his back!


That's two minutes gone in the round.
