Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noah Puckerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grant has chosen Alice in Chains - Rooster as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

25 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cody Grant!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puckerman throws an overhand right that lands on Grant's shoulder, as Grant tries to avoid the shot.
Grant just misses with a punch to the body.
Grant tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Puckerman is able to avoid easily.
Puckerman takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Grant shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Puckerman sprawls well. Puckerman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Grant gets slowly back to his feet.
Grant throws a hook but Puckerman blocks it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Grant looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Grant slips under a jab.
Grant throws a series of punches but Puckerman avoids them all with ease.

Grant has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Puckerman is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Puckerman's jab looks to have found its range, popping Grant under the eye.
Grant with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Puckerman to score with a decent uppercut.
Grant turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Puckerman changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Grant closes the distance and clinches up with Puckerman, looking for a takedown. Grant pushes Puckerman against the cage but Puckerman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Grant ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

The crowd cheers as Puckerman lands an impressive looking overhand right. Grant doesn't seem phased though.

Puckerman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grant was well out of range. Poor timing from Puckerman.
Grant closes the distance but Puckerman moves to the side
and Puckerman counters with a leg kick.

Puckerman defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Grant.

Grant tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Puckerman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Puckerman cracks Grant with a good jab.

Grant avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Grant slips a straight right by Puckerman.
Puckerman throws a body punch but Grant moves out of range.
Grant tries to close the distance and clinch up but Puckerman swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Puckerman slips under a jab.
Grant moves out of range of the strikes.
Grant throws a low kick, looking for Puckerman's leg but Puckerman calmly moves out of range.
Grant throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Puckerman's waist but Puckerman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Grant off to one side.
Puckerman lands a jab.
Grant dives in and grabs Puckerman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Puckerman pushes down on Grant's head and hops out.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Puckerman moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Puckerman throws a big shot that misses.
Grant throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Puckerman sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Noah Puckerman dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A nice inside leg kick there by Puckerman. That's going to slow Grant down.
Grant tries to clinch but Puckerman moves out of range.
Puckerman throws a hook but Grant blocks it.
Grant doesn't manage to clinch there - Puckerman circles away.
Grant walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Puckerman keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Grant.
Puckerman stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Grant is trying desperately to land a takedown but Puckerman is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Grant.
Grant gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Puckerman.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Grant tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Puckerman counters with a nice right hand that sends Grant toppling to the canvas! Grant scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Puckerman finish him?!
Grant is rocked!
Puckerman fakes the body blow, causing Grant to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Grant goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
