Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Diotte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Cowen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diotte comes into the arena with Cypress Hill - I Want 2 Get High blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Cowen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Diotte connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cowen scrambles back to his feet.
Diotte throws a nice looking combination but Cowen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Cowen takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Diotte crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cowen - the referee stops the clock and Diotte gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cowen. Diotte manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

A very excited looking Jared Cowen rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
