Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Al Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Qing Fu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fu has chosen Manowar: Nessum Dorma as his entrance music. Qing Fu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campbell fails with an attempt to clinch.
Campbell feints and then cracks Fu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fu down.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fu. Campbell does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fu lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fu comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Campbell takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Fu throws a left and a right that both miss

and Campbell counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Campbell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Campbell is working Fu over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Qing Fu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

No joy there for Fu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Campbell buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Campbell throws a leg kick which misses Fu's front leg but catches the back leg as Fu tries to avoid it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fu goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Qing Fu seems to be getting the better of the standup.

That was a close second round but I would say that Al Campbell will probably get the nod.

Campbell closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fu did well to prevent Campbell getting side control.

Campbell is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fu is just riding it out for now. Campbell eventually gives up the hold.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Campbell, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
