Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Clayton Channings!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Skinner!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skinner misses with a jab, cross combination.
Channings changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Skinner throws a shot from downtown. Channings moves away and avoids it.
Channings has been working on his boxing with his coaches at WarZone Training Facility 2 in the buildup to the fight.
Channings on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Channings takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Channings takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Skinner dodges the punch combination from Channings.
No joy there for Skinner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Channings changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Skinner looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Channings tries for a kimura but Skinner is defending well.
Skinner felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Channings blocks the strikes from Skinner.
Skinner is trying to control Channings's posture but Channings avoids it.

Channings is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Skinner has escaped the position, nice work there.
Skinner is pushing Channings's head away, looking to escape. Channings manages to hold on to the position though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Channings advances to full mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Channings there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Skinner is in a horrible position here. Channings smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Skinner defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Channings.

Channings looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Skinner tries to hold on but Channings pushes him away.
Skinner throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Channings trying to control but Skinner is having none of it.
Channings landing strikes from the mount and Skinner is in trouble!

Skinner in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Channings has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Skinner is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.

Channings is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Skinner can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Channings working for a guillotine from mount but Skinner is in no mood to give up.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Channings prevents Skinner from getting the reversal.

Skinner is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Channings is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Skinner has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Skinner is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Skinner throwing hammer fists to the chest of Channings. What's that going to do exactly?
A nice elbow there by Channings.
Skinner wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Channings working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Skinner looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Channings! Submission of the night perhaps?
