Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Lodano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Strashko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucas Lodano could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ivan Strashko's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lucas Lodano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ivan Strashko! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strashko looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Lodano! Strashko throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Lodano is not content to let Strashko control the position. Strashko is trying to ground and pound but Lodano uses the momentary lack of control by Strashko to regain half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lodano trying to control here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strashko throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Strashko lands a nice short elbow. Lodano avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Strashko. Lodano is staying active underneath Strashko, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Strashko lands with a punch from half guard. Strashko is looking to stall here but Lodano recovers full guard. Lodano looking for a sweep. Not yet Lodano, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Strashko slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Strashko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lodano is keeping the position for now. Strashko content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Strashko working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Lodano throws a leg kick that is checked and Strashko counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Strashko. Lodano makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Strashko lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. I was talking to Lodano's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Lodano lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Strashko.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lodano misses with a hook from the clinch. Lodano throws a punch but it's blocked by Strashko. Lodano can't break the clinch.
Strashko has a couple of punches blocked by Lodano.
Lodano presses Strashko against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Lodano misses with the head strike.
Lodano lands a right hand. Strashko pushes Lodano back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Lodano. Strashko blocks the elbow strike.
Strashko can't find room to land a body shot as Lodano controls the action.
Lodano prevents a takedown attempt there.
Lodano tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Strashko's elbow. Lodano lands with a right to the head. A short uppercut from Strashko. Strashko throws a head punch that misses. Lodano lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Strashko prevents a body shot from Lodano. Lodano softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Strashko goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Lodano prevents a body shot from Strashko. Strashko drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lodano gets the underhooks and prevents it.
A head punch on the inside from Lodano fails to land. Lodano lands a hook that snaps the head of Strashko backwards. Lodano misses with some punches.
Strashko blocks a body shot from Lodano. Lodano tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Lodano gets through Strashko's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. A head punch on the inside from Lodano fails to land. Lodano misses with some punches.

Strashko connects with a body shot. A jab from Strashko misses. Strashko throws a body shot but no joy. It looked like Lodano wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Lodano fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Strashko manages to avoid it. Strashko throws a body punch but Lodano moves out of range. Strashko misses with a hook. Lodano ducked under it nicely. Lodano lands a jab to the nose. Lodano works Strashko's body with a nice hook. Strashko is looking to clinch. Lodano digs a good body shot into Strashko's ribs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lodano throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Strashko slips a jab from Lodano. Strashko with a body punch. A glancing blow. Lodano misses with a hook. Strashko ducked under it nicely. Lodano is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Strashko can do to turn this around? Strashko moves away from the strike by Lodano.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lodano takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Strashko on the wrong end of a nice hook. Strashko blocks a jab. Lodano swings widly with a right hand
and Strashko counters with a one-two to the body. Strashko fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lodano misses the shot to the body. A nice side step and Strashko releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Strashko is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lodano misses with a wild body shot. Strashko now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Strashko moves away from the strike by Lodano. Lodano fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Strashko manages to avoid it. It seemed like Strashko was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Lucas Lodano is winning the standup battle so far. Lodano misses with a hook. Strashko wants to counter the offense by Lodano and move into the clinch position. Lodano throws a body shot but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Strashko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lodano.
Strashko fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lodano manages to avoid it. A looping hook to the body misses from Lodano. Strashko does a little dance to reset his feet. Strashko swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Lodano swinging wildly here.
Strashko cracks Lodano with a right hand to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Strashko is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lodano throws a big counter combination but Strashko scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Lodano misses with a wild body shot. Lodano lands a body shot.
Strashko connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lodano momentarily.
Strashko tests Lodano's chin there with a solid looking shot. Strashko tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lodano defends well and Strashko ends up having to push Lodano into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Lucas Lodano is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Strashko takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strashko throws an off balance right hand
and Lodano counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Strashko's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lodano under the eye. Lodano ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Strashko moves away. Strashko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lodano's waist but Lodano gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Strashko off to one side. Lodano scores with a shot to the body.
Strashko is breathing heavily. Strashko drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Lodano misses with a hook. Strashko throws out a counter right but Lodano avoids it with no problem. Strashko wants to clinch up but Lodano keeps it at a distance. A jab from Lodano finds it's way through Strashko's defenses. Strashko walks into a left hand.
Strashko is rocked! Strashko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lodano counters with a crisp right that sends Strashko to the canvas! Lodano follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lucas Lodano! During a confident post fight interview, Lucas Lodano thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. Ivan Strashko spoke after the fight, saying 'I got bribed to lose. Would have won otherwise.'.
