Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xavier Fury! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mason Marshall! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fury misses with a series of wild punches.
Fury throws a poor cross that misses
and Marshall makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Fury jabs at Marshall's body. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Fury jabbing away but nothing is landing. Fury takes a swing at Marshall's ribcage but misses. Fury shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Fury was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Marshall sneaks back into half guard. Fury wants to pass to mount but Marshall is defending the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marshall tries to roll over but Fury keeps him under control. Marshall moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Marshall is on top in guard.
Marshall trying to control but Fury is working from the bottom. Marshall pushing down on Fury's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marshall is pressing down on Fury's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fury is holding on for now. Marshall wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fury keeps working. Fury is looking for a sweep. Marshall is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Marshall seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Marshall is pressing down on Fury's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fury is holding on for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fury is staying active underneath Marshall, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Fury won't allow Marshall to pass to mount. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Marshall content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fury pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fury misses with a left hand and Marshall counters with a two punch combo. Fury throws a looping overhand right but Marshall ducks down to avoid it. We've been told by Fury's head coaches at Elite MMA Training Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. A telegraphed right hand from Fury misses the target. Fury throws a shot from downtown. Marshall moves away and avoids it. Fury swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fury connects with a good right hand that stumbles Marshall. Marshall circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Fury throws a lazy uppercut
and Marshall counters with a one-two to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mason Marshall will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Fury throws out a loose jab but Marshall uses good head movement to avoid it. Fury misses with a straight right. Fury misses with a straight left. Fury misses with an uppercut. Marshall staying out of range there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fury misses with a right hand and Marshall counters with a nice double leg into guard. Marshall passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marshall is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Marshall moves nicely into side control. Fury prevents Marshall from moving into mount. Marshall advances to mount. Marshall looking to control but Fury is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Marshall wants to finish this one by submission but Fury is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Marshall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marshall controlling the pace for now. Mason Marshall has got the better of the ground game so far. Fury wants to hold on but Marshall pushes him away. Marshall looking to control but Fury is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Marshall goes for an armbar but Fury turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Fury.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marshall is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marshall is trying to keep Fury in close.
Marshall looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Marshall is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Marshall wants to free his trapped foot but Fury is holding on for dear life with his legs. Marshall trying to control from Fury's half guard. Fury has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marshall forces his way into half guard. Marshall is keen to just control but Fury is a slippery customer. Marshall stalling. Marshall is looking to take a break and control but Fury is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mason Marshall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Nice jab there from Fury. Marshall moves away from the strike by Fury. Marshall's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fury connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Marshall scrambles back to his feet. Fury misses with a hook. Marshall ducked under it nicely. Fury lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fury looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Marshall is fending him off so far but Fury persists. Nope, Marshall circles away and we're back to standing. Fury is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Marshall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marshall takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Fury rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Marshall counters with a three punch combo that has Fury backing up. Fury nods at Marshall to acknowledge the strikes. Fury connects with a right hand. Marshall shakes it off. Fury throws a right hand that misses
enabling Marshall to counter with a crisp jab. Fury lands the left hand. A swing and a miss from Fury.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marshall defending well as Fury loads up on a big left hand. Fury throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Marshall sees it coming and avoids it easily. A big left from Fury misses. Xavier Fury is winning the standup battle so far. Fury loads up on a big right hand but Marshall slips the punch. Marshall moves away from the strike by Fury. A jab from Fury misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fury misses with an uppercut
and Marshall counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Fury missing with a left hand there. Marshall was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Fury misses with a hook
and Marshall counters with a single leg into guard. Fury didn't expect that. Marshall slips nicely into half guard. Marshall is looking to advance position but Fury won't allow it. Marshall works his way into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marshall controls the position from side control. Fury knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Marshall on the ground. Marshall wants to control but Fury is keeping him busy. Marshall has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Fury! Marshall looking to control and managing it successfully. Marshall has hold of Fury's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fury manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Xavier Fury has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mason Marshall is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Marshall controlling his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mason Marshall. I've got Marshall winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
