Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Rockin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sinbad Sailor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sailor has chosen Sailing on the Seven Seas as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robbie Rockin! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sinbad Sailor! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sailor fails to land with a series of punches.
Rockin keeps the fight on the outside. Sailor slips a jab from Rockin. Sailor misses with an uppercut. Rockin connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sailor momentarily.
Jab from Rockin. Sailor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sailor shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rockin napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sailor trying to control the action but Rockin is working from the bottom. Sailor tries to score with some ground and pound. Rockin controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Rockin managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Sailor.
Sailor in side control, throwing shots but Rockin defends. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sailor working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sailor wants to control but Rockin is keeping him busy. Sailor landing strikes. Sailor tries to score with some ground and pound. Rockin controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Sailor landing a few strikes. Sailor is working Rockin over with some ground and pound from side control. Sailor creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Rockin sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Sailor throws a strike aimed at the side of Rockin's head but Rockin avoids it well. Sailor working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Sailor is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rockin has escaped the position, nice work there. An elbow from Sailor crashes against the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rockin parries the strikes from Sailor easily there. Sailor is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Rockin to escape.
Sailor working the ground and pound. Sailor tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Sailor is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rockin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Sailor throwing shots but missing, from side control. Rockin is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sailor is looking to take a break and control but Rockin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rockin takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Sailor tries to advance to mount but can't. Sailor throws a strike aimed at the side of Rockin's head but Rockin avoids it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sailor in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Sailor controlling from side mount. Sailor scores with a couple of short elbows. Rockin is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Sailor throwing shots but missing, from side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rockin regains half guard. Sailor is looking to take a break and control but Rockin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sinbad Sailor dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rockin throws a head kick but Sailor moves out of range.
Sailor lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sailor.
Rockin is rocked!
It looks like Robbie Rockin has been cut. Rockin throws a chopping leg kick but Sailor manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Oh Rockin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sailor throws a pinpoint strike between Rockin's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Rockin crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Sailor scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sinbad Sailor! Sinbad Sailor retains his welterweight title! Sinbad Sailor seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
