Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franky Train (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas William (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Franky Train! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thomas William! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! William misses with a takedown attempt and Train counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. William with a lazy takedown attempt and Train counters with a lovely straight right hand! Train throws a hook but William avoids it easily. William has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. William scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. William with a poor takedown and Train holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Franky Train has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas William. William drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Train makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Train has a couple of punches blocked by William.
That's one minute gone in the round. Train lands a right hand that snaps the head of William backwards. Train misses with some punches.

William wants to take the fight to the mat but Train manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Train tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A nice right hand lands inside from Train. Train misses with a hook from the clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from Train. William wants a takedown but no success here.

William has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Train avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. I was talking to Train's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Train softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Train. Train misses with a punch on the inside.
Train is struggling to control the position. William tries for a takedown but Train manages to get underhooks.
Train tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. William is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Train pulls him back up using the underhooks. A short left from Train. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! William avoids a wild elbow strike from Train. Train has William pressed against the cage.
William blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Train misses with a hook to the ribs.
Train pushes William back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. William can't get the takedown.
Train swings wildly with an uppercut but William uses good head movement to avoid it. William has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Train avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Train creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Train lands with a left to the head. William has Train pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Train manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. William goes for a takedown attempt but Train pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
William shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Train counters with a solid body kick. Nice takedown defense from Train. No joy for William on that attempt. The fighters circling - Train throws out the jab but it was never going to land. William doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Train counter with a right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Train tries to close the distance and clinch but William swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. William looks to land a combination but Train avoids it well. Thomas William seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. William shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and William takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Train fakes high and swings low for a body shot but William manages to avoid it. Train defends well against a solid takedown attempt from William. William shoots in but no luck this time. William shoots and misses and Train counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. William misses with a takedown letting Train counter with a right hand. William looks winded! Train scores with a spinning back kick! A left and a right from Train both land. Nice combination. William takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
William is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Franky Train dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
William has his takedown stuffed and Train moves into the clinch. Train trying to land knees to the body.
William wants a takedown.
William drops down looking for an ankle pick but Train pulls his leg out and moves away.
Franky Train has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas William. William with a lazy takedown attempt and Train counters with an outside leg kick.
William will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Train closes the distance and clinches. A left hand lands to the body for Train.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Train softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. William is breathing heavily. William can't get the takedown.

Train lands with a short head shot on the inside. Train lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of William backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Train tries to work over William's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Train is working William over against the cage. Train is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that William can do to turn this around? Train breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
William gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Train makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Train takes the fight into the clinch. Train scores with a shoulder strike. Train lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Train. William gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Train wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. William prevents Train from getting back to his feet. Train will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Train tries to land a sweep but no joy. Train is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Train knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for William on the ground. William stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Train swivels though and keeps the full guard. Train wants to stand and escape but William is having none of it. Train pulls William in close to prevent any damage. Train's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. William gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Train counters with a stiff right hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! William shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Train as he jumps to the side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Train gets in close and instigates a clinch. Train throws a punch but it's blocked by William. Train tried to land a shot to the body but connects with William's elbow. William's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Train goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Franky Train has scored more points in the clinch so far. William is trying to drag Train to the mat but Train just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Train scores with a hook to the body. Train lands a left hand that snaps the head of William backwards. Train breaks the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. William takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
William doesn't succeed with the takedown and Train counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps William thinking. Thomas William is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. William doesn't succeed with the takedown and Train connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Train darts in and clinches William up against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Train breaks the clinch.
Train tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but William was well out of range. Poor timing from Train. William decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Train tries to kick William off but William keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Train moves into full guard.
William stops Train from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

William shoots for a double leg takedown but Train sprawls well. He's pushed William's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. William shoots and misses and Train counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps William thinking. William gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Train counters with a nice uppercut. Franky Train has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas William. William fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Train avoids it really well and circles away. Train takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. William fails with the takedown and Train counters with a series of strikes. William will be more careful next time no doubt. William takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. William takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Train lands a brutal uppercut that launches William off his feet! William tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Franky Train! Our winner, Franky Train, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
