Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sammer Bammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Short Low (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Low has chosen Short People as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bammer throws a lazy right hand but Low sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bammer misses with a hook
and Low counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Bammer on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Bammer rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Low counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Low stuffs the takedown.
Bammer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Low swivels and escapes.
Low ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bammer moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Low motions for Bammer to come forward. Low throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
We've been hearing reports that Bammer has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Bammer closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Low's guard.

Bammer is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Low defends it well.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bammer wants to control but Low is keeping him busy.
Low is looking to regain half guard here but Bammer keeps moving and retains side control.

Bammer thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Bammer is looking to take a break and control but Low is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Low can't do much from the bottom here.

Bammer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bammer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
You can see the frustration on Low's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bammer passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Low!
Bammer prevents Low from getting the reversal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Sammer Bammer will probably get the nod.
That's time! Bammer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Nice uppercut lands for Bammer. That snapped Low's head back.

Bammer shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Bammer is working for a submission of some sort.

Bammer is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Low defends it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bammer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Low keeps working.

Bammer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Low is just riding it out for now. Bammer eventually gives up the hold.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bammer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bammer shoots in looking for a takedown. Low tries to sprawl out of it but Bammer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Low manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bammer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Low can pounce on him.
Bammer is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Low scores with a hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bammer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Low's waist but Low gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bammer off to one side.
Bammer moves out of range of the strikes.
Low takes a swing at Bammer's ribcage but misses.
Low throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bammer lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Low stalks Bammer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bammer's face. Bammer staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Sammer Bammer has been cut.
Bammer is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Bammer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bammer shoots in but Low avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Short Low comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
