Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hosea Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leetais Putns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hosea Kerr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Leetais Putns! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Putns throws a half hearted mid kick. Putns has a takedown stuffed. Putns misses with a few strikes there.
Putns tries a head kick but it misses.
Putns fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Putns throws a sloppy head kick and Kerr moves out of range easily. Putns fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Kerr rushes Putns and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Putns is trying to break the clinch but Kerr has him pressed against the cage. Putns has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Putns escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Putns. Hosea Kerr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leetais Putns. Kerr checks the leg kick nicely there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerr shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Putns is working an open guard so Kerr takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Putns fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Putns fails with a takedown attempt. Putns looks winded! Putns pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kerr is out of range and Putns settles back down. Putns tries to clinch but Kerr moves away and Kerr moves into the clinch. Kerr successfully pulls guard.
Kerr has Putns pulled in close to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kerr manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kerr is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Putns can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Kerr controlling the position easily from mount. Kerr unloading with bombs! Putns in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The referee warns Putns that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Putns has given up his back here. Will Kerr look for the submission or keep pounding away?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kerr is punishing Putns with some ground and pound. Kerr lands a shot to the head. Kerr lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Kerr.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kerr has Putns flattened out and is raining down punches. Putns tries for a takedown but Kerr sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Putns fails with a takedown attempt. Leetais Putns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Putns misses with a series of wild punches.
Horrible takedown by Putns or perhaps it was just good defense by Kerr which made him look bad. Hosea Kerr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leetais Putns. Putns is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerr decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kerr stands up out of the half guard. Putns gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Kerr gets to his feet. Putns looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Kerr lands a nice short elbow. Nice strikes from Kerr there. Kerr seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Kerr decides to stand up. Kerr shoots in and gets a takedown into Putns's guard. Kerr works over Putns with some ground and pound from guard. Kerr controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kerr chips away with some ground and pound. Putns throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kerr uses it to pass to side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kerr connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Putns some visible discomfort.
Kerr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Putns is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kerr connects with a decent elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kerr taking a breather here. Kerr looks up at the clock and then as Putns takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kerr smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Kerr decides to stand back up. Kerr steps back and let's Putns get back to his feet. Kerr closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Putns quickly recovers to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kerr winds up and cracks Putns with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Putns taking some punishment here, with Kerr in his half guard. Putns is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kerr scores with a couple of nice shots. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kerr working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Ground and pound from Kerr. Kerr drops an elbow to the side of Putns's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hosea Kerr dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Kerr closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kerr lands in his opponent's guard. Kerr postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Kerr connects with a couple of short punches. Putns has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kerr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kerr chips away with some ground and pound. Kerr slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Kerr distracts Putns with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Putns takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerr with a nice head shot there. Hosea Kerr overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kerr seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Kerr is in close to Putns's body, working some short punches and elbows. Kerr working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Kerr lands a couple of digs. Kerr makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Kerr stands and steps away. Putns gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Kerr throws a head kick that misses. Leetais Putns is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kerr closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kerr lands in his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kerr gets to his feet - Putns follows without any prompting. This has been an exciting period of action! Putns tries to sprawl but Kerr drives through with a takedown into half guard. Putns is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kerr scores with a couple of nice shots. Nice strikes from Kerr there. Kerr stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Putns to get to his feet. Putns gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Kerr gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Putns misses with a takedown attempt - Kerr sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kerr shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Putns is trying to defend but Kerr finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kerr takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Kerr decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Putns shoots and misses and Kerr counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kerr. Hosea Kerr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leetais Putns.

Kerr tightens his grip and picks Putns up, before dumping him to the ground. Putns manages to land in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Putns has an active guard here but Kerr has managed to pass into half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Hosea Kerr showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kerr, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
